Happy Hangover Distraction

Sometimes we find that the day after a good day can be hard. When have a tight one, with strong focus and new ideas, the follow up can be disappointing. This is because we are expecting the same rewards for the same work.

Unfortunately this is not how it works.

We must not expect all the good things all the time. Try instead to expect nothing, just put yourself in position for them. Some days they come, some they wont. But if you don’t make yourself available to receive that powerful mood, you won’t be able to pick it up. Think of a car radio driving through the mountains. When tuned to a station, you pick it up sometimes and loose it sometimes, but you are always prepared to receive it. If your only tuned to static then that’s all you ever get…
